“Oh the house of denial has thick walls
and very small windows
and whoever lives there,
little by little, will turn to stone.”

This piece is so special to me, I sat back and really thought about the courage and WORK it takes to chose growth.
Chosing growth is oftentimes a challenge - and self-inflicted at that! In that though, there is hope and there is a light for what can happen after we push. Rich navys and near blacks accompanied by light pinks and corals speak to the moment of choosing light over dark.

This work is created with acrylic paints, hand-painted, distressed, and cut paper, and powdered graphite on stretched professional-grade canvas. Topped and sealed with multiple coats of matte varnish.

Natural Pine wood frame included. Ready to hang.
